Dead Lifts – The Menace In The Gym
There was a time when I suffered from lower back pain and the idea of doing exercise that would invoke that specific area of my body seemed to be completely counter intuitive. One exercise that is considered a mainstay in the bodybuilding world is the dead lift. If you just got here yesterday and your not familiar with this move it involves bending over to lift a bar loaded with weights off the floor. It seemed impossible given the fragile state of my lower back but it turned out to be the remedy! It was counter intuitive, but it was exactly what I needed.
